The BD PosiFlush Heparin Lock Flush Syringe is a high-quality and cost-effective vial-based vascular access medical device made to reduce the risk of medication errors, may lower the risk of catheter damage and reduce disposal wastes.
Awesome Syringe Construction. Built to eliminate syringe-induced blood reflux, the PosiFlush Heparin Lock Flush Syringe has a unique design that prevents solutions from entering a non-sterile area of the syringe and improves patient outcomes. It features a clear barrel for greater visibility of syringe contents and bold prints for clarity. These are color & barcoded for hassle-free identification and verification. The Syringes meet the requirements of the Joint Commissions' medication labeling.
Ensured Patient Safety. The PosiFlush Heparin Lock Flush Syringes have a consistent 10-mL barrel diameter which may in the lower the risk of catheter damage due to injection pressure. Because of the design, it generates a significantly lower pressure (PSI) compared to standard 3 mL Syringes. The pre-filled heparin solution features a sterile fluid pathway and is not made with preservatives. The 10 u/mL (Units per mL) have a shelf life of 18 months while the 100 u/mL has it for two years.
